Junior Golf Instructors

Bo Harris is a USGTF Certified Teaching Professional and Certified First Tee Coach with the First Tee of Greater Knoxville.  Bo has been teaching golf since 2010. He has coached several teams such as Team Florida in the Special Olympic National Games, Several Middle and High School teams, and has worked with numerous college players, and currently coaches at Roane State Community College. Fairways and Greens was founded on the importance of implementing golf instruction in the pursuit of an improved golf game. Katie Brinker started playing golf when she was 4 years old and played competitively in middle school, high school, college, and some overseas. She has a competitive spirit, but also sees value in the life lessons that golf teaches – honesty, integrity, and patience. She has a desire to grow the game through junior golf and through helping women from all ability levels. She has been involved with the LPGA Amateur Golf Association since 2013 and currently serves as a board member for the Knoxville chapter.  Although she has been coaching golf for over 20 years, she joined the LPGA Professionals in 2021 and is a certifed golf instructor. david Reed golf

David Reed has been teaching for over 15 years, and specializes in juniors and beginners who are new to the game. David’s experience while playing mini tours after his successful collegiate golf career at MTSU, has allowed him to work with many highly skilled players. David not only works with their swing, but on their course management, and mental approach to tournament golf. David uses video analysis, and is able to work with his students in his inside studio. Sasha Catron is a Hank Haney and Trackman Certified instructor in Greenville, Tennessee.  Before playing golf of the mini tours, Sasha played collegiate golf earning many titles such as 4 Time All South Atlantic Conference, and 2 Time DII Super Region Qualifier.  Currently, Sasha is the Director of Instruction at Link Hills Golf Academy offering group and private lessons for all ages utilizing both indoor and outdoor state of the art facilities.  Contact Sasha Catron at Sasha Catron Golf for more info.

Clint Suggs successfully played junior and AJGA golf, as well as playing for his middle and high school teams. He subsequently played for Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee where he maintained the number one or two position. Clint developed a passion for teaching and decided to obtain his PGA certification. He graduated from Campbell University, obtaining the PGA/PGM degree under PGA’s new and intensive Golf 2.0 program, which emphasized Player Development and entailed extensive work experience, intensive testing, and passing the Player’s Ability Test (PAT). des mahoney

Des Mahoney is the Director of Instruction at Centennial Golf Course near Knoxville, Tenn. Des has always had a passion for teaching golf and helping his students achieve their golf goals. george hall

George Hall is a PGA Professional at Beverly Park Golf Course teaching junior clinics for ages 4-17.  Through a variety of programs, beginning golfers to advanced golfers will have a chance to learn and play.  Most programs are 4-5 weeks and playing opportunities exist through league play. Contact George through the web at Beverly Park Par 3.
